What If I Tell You There Is No Box?

Thinking outside the box entails a thinking process, which comprehends the implementation of an unusual approach to the logical thinking structure. It´s a procedure which aims to escape relational reasoning and thinking. But what if I tell you that there is no box?

Take a good look at this, If your boss pay you N 30000 per month, assuming you decided to save all without touching a dime, it will take you 36 months to make N1million. (Did I hear you say 3years?)Absolutely!

In the other hand, if you can convince an organisation like Dangote Group To print and supply 5000 umbrellas to them (to be used as souvenirs) and you make just N200 profit per umbrella, in just one day you must have made N1million.

What about becoming a billionaire, that's where it gets crazy!
OK, now let's increase your pay to N1,000,000 per month and you decide to save all without touching a dime. In a year, you must have saved N12million. It will take about 84 years before you can make N1billion. (Please subtract your current age).

In the other hand, Nigeria has a population of about 200 million people. If you can supply salt to just 12million, once in a month and you make just N200 from each person supplied, in one year, you must have made N2.9billion.

This shows that to become rich, you have to stop talking to bosses and start talking to clients.
You have to stop thinking inside the box and even stop thinking outside the box...
Yes... The box is still a limitation...
You have no idea what your mind is capable of, do you?
This is what you have to do...

SET YOUR MIND FREE AND THINK LIKE THERE IS NO BOX...
The possibilities are endless......

HOW THE DESERT BECAME PRECIOUS (Inspiring Story)

“If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude”. - Maya Angelou

A young bride from the East during wartime followed her husband to a U.S Army camp on the edge of the desert in California. Living conditions were primitive at best, and her husband had advised against her move, but she wanted to be with her newly wedded husband. The only housing they could find was a run-down shack near an Indian village.

The heat was unbearable in the daytime - 115˚ in the shade. The wind blew constantly, spreading dust and sand all over everything. The days were long and boring. Her only neighbours were Indians, none of whom spoke English. When her husband was ordered farther into the desert for two weeks of maneuvers, loneliness and the wretched living conditions got the best of her. She wrote to her mother that she was coming home. She couldn’t take it anymore.

In a short time she received a reply which included these two lines, “Two men looked through prison bars; one saw mud, the other saw stars”. She read the lines over and over again and began to feel ashamed of herself. She didn’t really want to leave her new husband. All right, she thought, she is going to look for the stars. In the following days she set out to make friends with the Indians, asking them to teach her weaving and pottery. At first they were distant, but as soon as they sensed her genuine interest, they returned her friendship. She became friendly with their culture and history – in fact, everything about them. She began to study the desert, it too changed from a desolate, forbidding place to a marvelous thing if beauty.

She had her mother send her books. She studied the forms of cacti, the yuccas and the Joshua trees. She collected sea shells that had been left there when the sands had been an ocean floor. Later, she became such an expert on the area that she wrote a book
about it.

Wayne Dyer said “If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change”. We are individually responsible for our view of life. Whenever you are in a difficult situation ask yourself this question “What is the positive side of this thing, what is the good in this situation or what is the possibility that this thing will work out?” Our minds is our garden, our thoughts are the seed, so we can choose to plant flowers or weeds but remember the Bible says “Whatever a man sows, this he will also reap” (Galatians 6:7).

What had changed? Not the desert; not the Indians. Simply by changing her mind-set she had transformed a miserable experience into a highly rewarding one. She had turned a dusty and hot desert into a precious one.

WHAT OTHERS SAY ABOUT YOU DOESN'T MATTER

“In the end, people will judge you anyway. Don’t live your life impressing others. Live your life impressing yourself” – Alexander BusyBrain

From the beginning of the world, men have been jealous of one another, men have criticized one another; so it is not a new thing to hear criticisms from your friends, parents, teachers, lecturers etc. But it only gets bad when you let these negative words and acts get to you.

In fact, it should make you happy to know that people are even saying things about you because it means you are doing something. 2face in his song with MI “Nobody” said “If nobody talks about you, then you are nobody”. So, people talking about you, whether positively or negatively is good news. It means you are somebody. Cynthia Occelli said “When people undermine your dreams, predict your doom or criticize you, remember they are telling you their story, not yours”.

Even Jesus, perfect in love and motives, was criticized and misunderstood continually. People called Him a glutton (Matthew 11:19), people called Him a drunkard (Luke 7:34), people criticized Him for associating with sinners (Matthew 9:11) and accused Him of having a demon (John 8:48). But, in spite of experiencing misunderstanding, ingratitude and rejection, our Lord Jesus never became bitter or discouraged. He saw every obstacle as an opportunity; an opportunity to heal the sick; an opportunity to show love to sinners; an opportunity to forgive sinners; Jesus turned every trial into triumphs. You should do the same. Be yourself no matter what other people say. God made you the way you are for a reason. Besides, an original is always worth more than a copy.

Believe in yourself and there will come a day when others will have no choice but to believe in you. Never give up on what you really want to do. The person with big dreams is more powerful than the one with all of the facts. Walter Gagehot wrote “A great pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do”.

WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER LET FAILURE STOP YOU

“Winners are not afraid of losing. But losers are. Failure is part of the process of success. People who avoid failure also avoid success.” - Robert T. Kiyosaki

Born into poverty, Lincoln was faced with defeat throughout his life. He lost eight elections, twice failed in business and suffered a nervous breakdown. He could have quit many times – but he didn’t and because he didn’t quit, he became one of the greatest presidents in the United States history.

Here is a sketch of Lincoln’s road to the White House:
• 1816 His family was forced out of their home. He had to work to support them.
• 1818 His mother died.
• 1831 Failed in business.
• 1832 Ran for state legislature – lost.
• 1832 Also lost his job – wanted to go to law school but couldn’t get in.
• 1833 Borrowed some money from a friend to begin a business and by the end of the year he was bankrupt. He spent the next 17 years of his life paying off this
debt.
• 1834 Ran for state legislature again – won.
• 1835 Was engaged to be married, sweetheart died and his heart was broken.
• 1836 Had a total nervous breakdown and was in bed for six months.
• 1838 Sought to become speaker of the state legislature – defeated.
• 1840 Sought to become elector – defeated.
• 1843 Ran for Congress – lost.
• 1846 Ran for Congress again – this time he won – went to Washington and did a good job.
• 1848 Ran for re-election to Congress – lost.
• 1849 Sought the job of land officer in his home state – rejected.
• 1854 Ran for Senate of the United States – lost.
• 1856 Sought the Vice-Presidential nomination at his party’s national convention – get less than 100 votes.
• 1858 Ran for U.S. Senate again – again he lost.
• 1860 Elected president of the United States

Lincoln’s life could demonstrate that the only time you don’t fail is the last time you try something and it works. He proves to us with his life that failure is simply an opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently. We can fail forward toward success. History has demonstrated that the most notable winners usually encountered heart-breaking obstacles before they triumphed. They won because they refused to become discouraged by their defeat. Elmer Clark wrote “Great people are created by great mistakes that are learned from, not from great successes that are gloated upon”.
Most of us will stumble and fall in life. Doors will get slammed in our faces, and we
might make some bad decisions. But imagine if Lincoln had given up the first time he failed or the third time, am sure he would never had become one of the greatest presidents in the United States history.

Thomas Edison said “Failure doesn't mean that we are off the track to success. It merely forces us to take a detour to success”. The moment you're ready to quit is usually the moment right before the miracle happens. So never give up on those beautiful dreams of yours, you are closer to your miracle, your breakthrough and achieving your goals more than you know.

THERE IS NO SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE

“You only live once and after that come death”. - Rick Ross

Rick Ross once said, “You only live once and after that come death” which is the truth. You only live once and after that, there is no more. There is no second chance. There is nothing like reincarnation. The Bible is the standard for all Christians. From Genesis to Revelation it never made mention of reincarnation or anything even close to it. So I don’t see any reason why I or any other should believe in it for any reason.

In fact, I personally think reincarnation is the idea of some men who did not complete their mission and assignment here on earth. Those people who wasted their lives when they were young. And are looking for a second chance to make things right. Telling themselves that they are going to come back to finish what they were suppose to complete before dying.

Our forefathers mistake the power of human genetic and heredity by saying that a child who looked and have similar features with his forefathers is a come back of that their forefathers. I have been told that I am a comeback of my grandfather because we look alike and I have similar characteristics.

This is the life God has given me, and I am going to make the very most of it. I am not here to relive the life of anyone not even that of my grandfather. I am here to fulfill my own purpose and destiny. You are here to also fulfill your own God-given purpose and destiny. If you don’t fulfill it, no one will. There is no second chance for you. Anything you leave here undone remains that way. If you do not fulfill your destiny before leaving here, no one is going to fulfill it for you. You will not reincarnate to fulfill it.

I can’t think of anything more tragic than to come to the end of one's life on earth and realize that you have not really “lived”, that you never became what God created you to be. You simply endured an average, mediocre life. You got by, but you lived without passion or enthusiasm, allowing your inner potential to lie dormant and untapped just because of fear of failure, because of other people's option about you.

Live everyday of your precious life with this at the back of your mind,  that after this life here there is no coming back. Don’t let fear of failure prevent you from living the great life that God has destined you to live. If you allow fear of failure to stop and prevent you from accomplishing your purpose, what are you going to tell your creator when you get to the other side?

WHAT IS SUCCESS TO YOU?

“What is success? To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty; To find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived; That is to have succeeded”. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

One way to know the dream of someone is to ask him “What is success to you?” This question helps you outline your dreams and if answered correctly,  would certainly give your life a meaning, help you focus on your core-genius and become better at what you are born to do.

Gone are those days, when I am asked “What is success to you?” And I will reply saying “Success is making so much money that my wife will not be able to spend it all in one day”. But true success in life is not measured by how much you make, but by how much of a difference you make. The rap artist Rick Ross once said “By how many people you bless, that’s how you measure success”.

I quite agree with him. Right now, if I am asked “What is success to you?” I will reply the person saying “Success is helping that young man and woman discover and develop his or her talent; success is telling that man or woman in the street that Jesus so love him or her that He came to die for him or her; success is motivating and inspiring the young generation to be better people; success is feeding the hungry, praying for the sick and providing home for the homeless.

Success is becoming the best husband and father in the world; success is making the world a better place in anyway that I can; success is making my neighbor feel blessed for having me as a neighbor; success is blessing the lives of my people and not just the lives of my parents and family members; success is sending a whole community of children to school.

Success is when that young man or woman can say “Thank God, a certain Alexander BusyBrain walked this earth, for he has blessed my Life. Remember, this is what success means to me and it does not have to be yours.

Herschel Walker said “I still say that I am a little different because success to me is not having the most money, or having the biggest car or the biggest house. Success is just being happy.”

My question to you reading this right now is “What is success to you?”

I want you to sit back and really think of what success means to you and share it with me on the comments below.

Do YOU have a FRIEND like BILL?

“The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, nor the kindly smile, nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone else believes in him and is willing to trust him. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Horror gripped the heart of the World War I soldier as he saw his lifelong friend fall in battle. Caught in a trench with continuous gunfire whizzing over his head, the soldier asked his lieutenant if he might go out into the no mans land between the trenches to bring his fallen comrade back. You can go, said the lieutenant, but I dont think it will be worth it. Your friend is probably dead and you may throw your life away.

The lieutenants advice didnt matter, and the soldier went anyway. Miraculously he managed to reach his friend, hoist him onto his shoulder and brought him back to their companys trench. As the two of them tumbled together to the bottom of the trench, the officer checked the wounded soldier, and then looked kindly at his friend.
I told you it wouldnt be worth it, he said.
Your friend is dead and you are mortally wounded.
It was worth it, though, sir, said the soldier.
What do you mean; worth it? responded the Lieutenant. Your friend is dead.
Yes, Sir the private answered. But it was worth it because when I got to him, he was still alive and I had the satisfaction of hearing him saying, Bill, I knew youd come. And thats true friendship.

Friendship is a deep relation tied with a particular closeness based on love and sharing of common interest. An African proverb says A friend is a brother that one chose. A friend is a person whom one knows and with whom one has a bond of mutual affection, typically exclusive of sexual or family relations.

Do you have friends like Bill? Or can you be like Bill to your friends? If you dont have friends like that, drop the old ones and go get yourself new ones. If you are not like Bill to your friends, you better change before they drop you and find themselves new friends.
