Questions For God

Dear God, if you truly exist, I have a few (dozen) questions for you. Why don’t you answer them for me? Please any of your followers are welcome to answer these too.

“God… Sorry if these questions sound a little sarcastic. It’s just that I’ve been asking these for a very long time and I haven’t heard from you yet. Are you listening?”

1.  Why don’t you show yourself? You supposedly made us and want us to believe in you, right? Why the big mystery? You’re also omnipresent, right? Why don’t you show yourself to all of us at once and have a personal discussion with us? You can pick the date and time, we’ll all stop what we are doing, I’m sure.

2. Did you really make Eve from one of Adam’s ribs? Why didn’t you make her from dust just like Adam? And, why do men and women have the same number of ribs if you stole one from Adam to make Eve?

3. Why do you make your followers suffer so much? Why do they die at the hands of other religions? Can’t you put a stop to this? You’re omnipotent, right? Can you ‘show us your stuff’?

4. Was physics different when Noah built the ark? I mean, seriously… how did he get all the animals from all over the world… and the dinosaurs, etc. on that boat? How did he get penguins to the Middle East? How did he get them back after the big flood? Why didn’t the dinosaurs eat all the sheep?

5. Why is there war? How does it agree with “Thou Shalt Not Kill”? Why are there so many wars in Your Name? Didn’t you even order Moses to do a lot of killing?

6. Why did you make us such sinful creatures? You are all-powerful and all-knowing, right? Why did you give us the ability to do things you call sinful? Why, then, do you punish us for doing exactly what you created us to do?

7. Did people just make up heaven as a place to go when you die because they were too afraid to tell the children that when you die… that’s it? End of story… game over?

8. How does ‘immaculate conception’ work? We really don’t understand that one down here. Are you just covering for some out-of-wedlock behavior?

9. Why do you want to destroy everyone that doesn’t believe in you? Why make them burn in hell for eternity? Couldn’t you have been a little kinder and just given all these people the capability to believe in you? Don’t you take any pride of ownership in what you created?

10. Why did you tell us in the Bible that the Earth, Sun, moon and the Heavens are fixed on pillars and cannot move?

11. How are we to believe that we were created from dust? There’s lots of evidence that we evolved from other creatures. Should we just ignore this? Should we be happy to have been created from dust rather than a fish?

12. Why do we find evidence of all the creatures that lived before us, yet most of them are not mentioned by you? And, why do we not find evidence of some of the species you mention in the Bible like fiery serpents or giants that towered over us like we were grasshoppers?

13. Why do you punish babies for the wrong-doings of their parents?

14. Why do you give us the capabilities for logic and reason, yet do not want us to apply these skills when it comes to you?

15. How old is the earth? The universe? You gave us plenty of evidence that they were not created 8-10 thousand years ago as your book says (and your followers try to force on us). You are omniscient, so we won’t bore you with our findings because you already know, right? Are you planning a 2nd edition to the Bible to correct these blatant errors? Was the devil on your editorial staff?

16. Why does the bible have an “Old Testament” and a “New Testament”? Didn’t you get it right the first time? If you are infallible, why did you need an update?

17. If there are so many religions and each thinks their beliefs are the only right ones and that everyone else is wrong, then most people are wrong – and if one religion is right, most people on the planet consider that one wrong. So which religion is the one that is right?

18. Are we free to make our own choices? If we are, how can we say that you opened up an opportunity for us? Wasn’t the opening of that opportunity the result of someone else’s free choice?

19. Did Adam really live to 930 years of age? Seth 912 years? Enos 905 years? How are we supposed to believe this, when over history, man is living longer and longer due to cleanliness and medicine? Were things cleaner back then? Had you not created all the illnesses and disease that you’ve given us now?

20. Why must I be forgiven for my sins by you, who has committed sins far greater than those of which I am capable? I have not unleashed a flood, killing the entire planet’s population save for a handful of people who worship me unquestioningly. I have not asked a man to sacrifice his son to prove his loyalty to me.

God I still have more questions for you but am going pause for now and  let my dear readers ask their own questions. And, yes of course your fellowes are free to answer any of these questions.

14 Questions Asked About Christianity

When it comes to God and Christianity, do you have questions? Nearly everyone does–believers and unbelievers alike. We have all at one point in our life asked some deep questions about God, Heaven and Hell.

Amazingly some of us have asked ourselves  these questions thinking we are alone. That's not true, I wrote this article to remind you that you are nit alone at all.

Here are some questions most often asked about the Christian Faith and God.

* How do you know there is a God?

* If truly God existed, wouldn't there be just one religion?

* How can there be a God when there is so much evil and suffering in the world?

* How can a loving God send people to Hell?

* How can any rational person believe in the Trinity?

* Don’t all religions lead to the same God?

* How do Christians get off saying their religion is the only one?

*  What would Christianity be like if there was no Hell or Heaven?

*  How can Jesus ask us for forgive our enemies but sends his own to hell?

*  How is the Bible different from any other history book out there?

* Heaven's supposed to be this really great place, right? So how come a third of the angels got pissed off?

* How can you reconcile belief in God with science and especially evolution?

* Why are there over 30,000 Christian denominations all claiming to be the "true Christians"? Which one should I follow and why?

* Why did God create the forbidden fruit on the Tree of Knowledge? If He didn’t want Eve to eat the fruit, why create it in the first place?

Please feel free to add your own questions!!

I don't have the answers to these questions, but if you do. I would love to hear them. Just provide them on the comment box below!!!

11 Rules We Were Not Taught In School

In school, you're taught a lesson and then given a test. In life, you're given a test that teaches you a lesson. - Tom Bodett

* Life’s not fair.Get Used to it. Stop expecting life to hand you the things you think you deserve.

* The world doesn’t care about your self esteem. Start making something of yourself today. In fact right now!

* You will not make six figure salary right after school. You will have to work hard for what you get. So quit dreaming and start putting in the work.

* If you think your lecturer is tough, wait till you meet your employer. If you think your employer is tough, wait till you meet your Clients...

* No job really as long as it pays is beneath your dignity. Swallow your pride and take that job you think is beneath you as a stepping stone.

 * If you mess up, it’s not your parent’s fault. They have done their part by sending you to school. Stop spreading blame around and take responsibility for your failures.

* Your parent know something you don’t. Perhaps, before you were born, your parents weren’t as boring as they are now.

* Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life has not. The result of an exam does not justify the means. It doesn’t bear the slightest resemblance of anything in real life.

* Life is not divided into semesters. Once life starts, it just goes on and on. So spend your time doing something worthwhile.

* What you see on television is not real life. In real Life, people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to their jobs.

* Be nice to nerds. Chances are you’ll end up working for one.

Most of the 11 Laws are by Charles J. Sykes and Bill gate, I just shared them with you!

WHAT MY DAD TOLD ME ABOUT WOMEN

One evening my father pulled me aside and said "Son, there are few axioms I have put together over the years of dealing with women and they have stood the test of time over and over again. If you adhere to these, then you will be years ahead of your peers and it will save you a ton of bullshit experiences with women, that could have been avoided. It will help steer your interactions with women in the right direction and keep you from losing your sanity".
Below are 20 of the axioms:

1. Who you marry will be the most important decision you ever make in life. Better make sure she’s up for the job.

2. Never get married or get tied down with a woman who you’re settling for. You will be miserable. She will be miserable. And life is too damn short to spend it with a woman low in caliber, personality and desire to suck your rooster dry everyday.

3. Believe a woman the first time she SHOWS you who she is. Don’t allow your emotions to blind you to her flaws and shortcomings.

4. Women are not the enemy. They are merely following their inherent nature. Learn how to handle them and you will be rewarded with their positive attributes. Flail about blindly and be cursed with their negative attributes.

5. Women are led by their emotions. Therefore, learn to use their emotions to your favor. Become the puppet master.

6. Always lead a woman in the relationship. If you don’t know how, then learn how.

7. Women are just as sexual, if not more than men. They crave depravity. Do not be fooled.

8. Be ready to walk away from the relationship at any time for any reason. If she acts up, be ready to walk. If you stay you will lose a small piece of self-respect, until eventually you won’t even know who you are anymore.

9. What is unsaid when communicating with a woman, is oftentimes more powerful than what is said.

10. Buying gifts, groveling, begging and changing for a girl will never keep her around. You’ll only intensify her disdain for you and speed up her hunt for an alpha rooster.

11. Never fully trust a woman. It’s not in their nature to be trustworthy. Self-preserve by only allowing for 60% of your trust given after a full and long courtship of at least 2 years.

12. Never get married before 30 years and always marry a younger woman. No exceptions.

13. The moment you make a woman “your life”, is the moment she’s preparing to walk out of yours.

14. Watch what a girl DOES, not what she SAYS.

15. If a girl dumps you, never take her back. She will never respect you the same and the relationship is doomed to fail.

16. Always let her say “I love you” first. She’ll love you more for your self-control.

17. The more money you get, the more you will attract women who are attracted to resources. Learn to put on a ‘Humble Front’ at first in order to screen the golddiggers out.

18. Never put aside your personal goals and dreams in order to please a woman. You won’t please her and you will be miserable.

19. Always Bleep her like it’s your last time before you go to prison.

20. Lastly, holding his both ears he said "Never, never, never hit a woman. No excuses! It is wrong from all angles".

TEN POWERFUL LESSONS TO LEARN FROM THE HEN

The chicken is one of the most common and widespread domestic animals , with a population of more than 19 billion as of 2011. Humans keep chickens primarily as a source of food, consuming both their meat and their eggs.
Am not here to give you a lecture about chickens, rather I will be sharing with you ten great attitudes you could learn from bird.

1. She first lays enough eggs before sitting on them - GOOD PLANNING.

2. When she starts sitting on her eggs, she minimizes movements - DISCIPLINE.

3. She physically loses weight while sitting on her eggs due to decreased feeding - SACRIFICE AND SELF DENIAL.

4. She can sit on eggs from another hen - INDISCRIMINATION AND GENEROSITY.

5. She sits on her eggs for twenty one (21) days, patiently waiting, even if they do not hatch, she will lay eggs again - FAITH, HOPE AND NOT DISCOURAGED.

6. She detects unfertilised eggs and rolls them out - SENSITIVE AND DISCERNING.

7. She abandons the rotten eggs and starts caring for the hatched chicks even if it is only one - WISDOM, CONSCIOUSNESS, AND REALISTIC.

8. No one touches her chicks - PROTECTIVE AND LOVE.

9. She gathers all her chicks together - UNITY OF PURPOSE.

10. She cannot abandon her chicks before they mature - MENTORSHIP.

What If I Tell You There Is No Box?

Thinking outside the box entails a thinking process, which comprehends the implementation of an unusual approach to the logical thinking structure. It´s a procedure which aims to escape relational reasoning and thinking. But what if I tell you that there is no box?

Take a good look at this, If your boss pay you N 30000 per month, assuming you decided to save all without touching a dime, it will take you 36 months to make N1million. (Did I hear you say 3years?)Absolutely!

In the other hand, if you can convince an organisation like Dangote Group To print and supply 5000 umbrellas to them (to be used as souvenirs) and you make just N200 profit per umbrella, in just one day you must have made N1million.

What about becoming a billionaire, that's where it gets crazy!
OK, now let's increase your pay to N1,000,000 per month and you decide to save all without touching a dime. In a year, you must have saved N12million. It will take about 84 years before you can make N1billion. (Please subtract your current age).

In the other hand, Nigeria has a population of about 200 million people. If you can supply salt to just 12million, once in a month and you make just N200 from each person supplied, in one year, you must have made N2.9billion.

This shows that to become rich, you have to stop talking to bosses and start talking to clients.
You have to stop thinking inside the box and even stop thinking outside the box...
Yes... The box is still a limitation...
You have no idea what your mind is capable of, do you?
This is what you have to do...

SET YOUR MIND FREE AND THINK LIKE THERE IS NO BOX...
The possibilities are endless......

THE ATHEISTS 10 COMMANDMENTS

These Ten Commandments are gotten from The God Delusion - A 2006 best-selling non-fiction book by English biologist Richard Dawkins.

In The God Delusion, Dawkins contends that a supernatural creator almost certainly does not exist and that belief in a personal god qualifies as a delusion , which he defines as a persistent false belief held in the face of strong contradictory evidence .

He is sympathetic to Robert Pirsig's statement in Lila (1991) that "when one person suffers from a delusion it is called insanity. When many people suffer from a delusion it is called religion. With many examples, he explains that one does not need religion to be moral and that the roots of religion and of morality can be explained in non-religious terms.

Below are the Ten Commandments from the book, please feel free to share your thoughts on the comment box below.

(1) Do not do to others what you would not want them to do to you.

(2) In all things, strive to cause no harm.

(3) Treat your fellow human beings, your fellow living things, and the world in general with love, honesty, faithfulness and respect.

(4) Do not overlook evil or shrink from administering justice, but always be ready to forgive wrongdoing freely admitted and honestly regretted.

(5) Live life with a sense of joy and wonder.

(6) Always seek to be learning something new.

(7) Test all things; always check your ideas against the facts, and be ready to discard even a cherished belief if it does not conform to them.

(8) Never seek to censor or cut yourself off from dissent; always respect the right of others to disagree with you.

(9) Form independent opinions on the basis of your own reason and experience; do not allow yourself to be led blindly by others.

(10) Question everything.

Dawkins uses these proposed commandments to make a larger point that "it is the sort of list that any ordinary, decent person today would come up with." He then adds four more of his own devising:

* Enjoy your own sex life (so long as it damages nobody else) and leave others to enjoy theirs in private whatever their inclinations, which are none of your business.

* Do not discriminate or oppress on the basis of sex, race or (as far as possible) species.

* Do not indoctrinate your children. Teach them how to think for themselves, how to evaluate evidence, and how to disagree with you.

* Value the future on a timescale longer than your own.
